iOS 16.0.2 Update: Does It Bring Along All The Remedies? Find Out Everything Here
Ever since iOS 16 was released, there were more problems than peers if Apple would have it that way. Apart from small bugs here and there, users reported some major issues with the iOS 16.0.1 version. Some copy and paste response issues, a few major red flags with the unresponsive Touch ID (on iPhone XR and iPhone 11), and other issues were reported that caused a massive uproar in the Apple community.
Causing major trust issues amongst customers attempting to shell out a big sum for the iPhone 11 and 12 series, these major iOS 16 issues are more than just ordinary bugs as you will see below.
But for now, Apple claims they have the fixes ready with them rolling out the iOS 16.0.2 update. Now is not the time for an iOS 16.0.2 review but about what it has initially brought to the table.
So what about iOS 16.0.2? Does It Bring Along Adequate Help – iOS 16.0.2 Bug Fixes
iOS 16.0.2 was released by Apple yesterday after much has been said about the inability to provide a game-changing next-generation experience with their previous updates successfully.
It is specifically meant for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
So there are multiple bugs that Apple claims to have fixed with this update, these include:
1. Apple Camera bug fix
The biggest problem that users faced after the iOS 16 update was that the back camera was shaking up images and destabilizing at times causing a blurry effect on photos and while taking videos, using the native Camera App as well as other 3rd party apps.
This was reported and soon became headline news prompting Apple to release the iOS 16.0.2 update primarily focusing on solving this issue.
Warning – though post the iOS 16.0.2 update not all users could find help as some continue to face the problem.
2. Pop-Up Permission fix
Copy and Paste between apps prompted a security message that would in general terms make your browsing and data completely safe. But the permission prompt appeared time and again for some users causing an issue whenever something was copied or taken from the clipboards.
The iOS 16.0.2 update claims to fix this issue.
3. Voiceover fix
Upon reboot, some iPhone users complained the voiceover option was unavailable. This too has been one of the minor bugs that the new iOS 16.0.2 update claims to have successfully fixed.
4. Touch unresponsive fix
One of the biggest red flags upon the arrival of iOS 16 was seen in some devices where the touch became unresponsive or totally blank at times.
It was later reported that the issue was creating an erratic touch problem in even the iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 models.
This problem has been noticed in some iPhone X models as well. But we can only hope that the new iOS 16.0.2 update brings a respite for the users.
Not Limited To Changing Displays or Devices
Earlier it was reported – by the repair and development quarters and some experts dealing in iPhone repairs – that the problem of the unresponsive/erratic touch could not be removed despite attempting to change the device’s entire display.
This caused a problem across the Apple hierarchy prompting them to release an update to address the minor and major bugs. While some of the minor bugs have been successfully addressed, the major ones are still causing trouble for some iPhone owners across the globe.
Only time will tell what Apple has in store for them and whether they’re going to get an easy, and cheap, solution for their respective problems with the next iOS 16.0.2 updates.
