IPad Pro 11” Teardown – 2021
Welcome to another teardown – This time we look at the 3rd gen (2021) teardown. The new iPad Pro 11” flaunts narrower bezels, curvy LCD corners, and cutting edge silicon. This is apparently the iPad Apple dreamed about building from the very beginning, but what we dream about is a device that is easy to repair. Will this iPad fulfill both dreams, or will we see superior tablets in the coming future? There’s only one way to tell—with a 3rd gen (2021) teardown!
In this all-important iPad Pro teardown step, we look at the lucrative display:
The display brings forward a Liquid retina display with 11-inch LED backlit multi-touch display and the latest IPS technology. With a 2388 by 1668 resolution at 264 pixels per inch, click clearer photos on an iPad than ever before.
Secondly, the stunning, redesigned Retina display in iPad Pro features ProMotion, a new technology that delivers refresh rates of up to 120Hz for fluid scrolling, greater responsiveness and smoother motion content. A true tone display and with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating the refresh rates are better than ever before and provide a glare-free screen experience.
The fully-laminated display supports the Apple pencil generation 2 making the experience a completely new story for Apple users.
Post the display iPad Pro 2021 teardown, we look at the all-new developments taking place around the camera:
First – the pro camera system brings together the wide and ultra wide cameras for an out-of-the-world photography and videography experience. With a wide (12 mp) camera and a 10 mp ultra wide camera, you can shoot at 125° field of view. Optical zoom is 2x and the digital zoom is up to 5x, which come with a brighter true tone flash and a panoramic view of u p to 63 mega pixels (no kidding here).
With a wider color capture ability for photos and live photos, the autofocus feature works well and allows you to capture pictures without worrying about red-eye or any such stabilization issue. The auto-image stabilization along with the burst modes allow you to click pictures instantly and with great quality.
The iPad Pro teardown explains the great capacity of capturing videos on your iPad Pro:
When it comes to videography, the iPad Pro teardown allows us to understand the great features, which were installed for a better recording experience with your tablet. 4K video recording up to 60 frames per second (fps) makes it a dynamic recording experience. If not using the wide lens, you can still record at 1080p HD at up to 60 fps. There’s also an extended dynamic range for capturing videos at up to 30 fps.
The new features include playback zoom, cinematic stabilization and stereo recording.
Next, in this iPad Pro 2021 teardown, we look at the Face ID features that makes this new-generation of iPad easier to use:
The new Face ID update in the iPad Pro 11” (3rd generation) sees the use of TrueDepth camera for better facial recognition. Now it is easier to unlock your iPads and easier to secure your personal data for all your diverse applications. The Face ID feature also allows users to make purchases from the iTunes Store, Apple Store, and Apple Books.
Finally in the iPad Pro 2021 teardown, we move to developments that makes this device a brand new adventure for Apple enthusiasts:
- The Apple 11-inch iPad Pro, along with the 12.9 inch iPad Pro were updated in April, 2021
- The update brings forward the faster Apple M1 chip, 5G connectivity, a new Magic keyboard, and the Apple Pencil 2
- Could feature wireless charging capabilities in the coming months
- An all-screen design and edge-to-edge display
- TrueDepth camera system
- Face ID, which uses facial recognition for biometric authentication
- Upgraded 12 MP selfie-camera
A smarter operating system, a better-than-before camera with greater stabilization, and new Face ID features alongside – this iPad Pro 11” 3rd generation (2021) teardown is simply one of Apple’s most dynamic packages coming at an affordable price.
