iPhone 13 Design and Display
About design, the iPhone 13 Series will have striking similarities to the iPhone 12 Series. The 2021 iPhones will continue to feature a flat design, a notch, and lightning port, and a slightly tweaked camera design (more on this later). Rumours suggest that the iPhone 13 models will sport a slightly smaller notch.

Just like the 12 Series, the iPhone 13 models will also come with an OLED display. While the higher-end models like the 6.1″ iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7″ iPhone 13 Pro Max will come with a 120Hz refresh rate which will further boost iPhones reputation as a top-notch asset for gaming.

It is worth pointing out that the 120Hz refresh rate has become more or less a norm on Android devices as most major smartphone manufacturers have adopted the higher refresh rate. However, Apple had kept it on hold possibly due to the battery drain concerns.
Recent rumours suggest that the iPhone 13 will feature an LTPO panel. Pretty much on the expected line; Samsung Display is to be the main supplier for the LTPO panel. Furthermore, Samsung is producing circuit boards for Apple to connect the display to the phone’s motherboard. For those unfamiliar, the LTPO panel is more power efficient as it does not require additional components under the display to activate the adaptive refresh rate.
iPhone 13 Camera
On the optics front, iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will continue to feature a triple camera module (12MP+12MP+12 MP), while the iPhone 13 and 13 mini will sport a dual-camera setup (12MP+12MP). The front camera aka selfie camera will continue to be 12MP. Based on the leaked purported images of the iPhone 13 Series, there will be a diagonal camera arrangement for the regular iPhone 13 models and a larger camera module for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.

According to the noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will come equipped with larger apertures on their ultra-wide cameras. Besides, they will pack a six-element lens that will let more light come through for much-improved image quality.
On top of all, the iPhone 13 Pro will also boast autofocus for the first time—a huge deal for photography enthusiasts.
iPhone 13 Processor
Every new iPhone comes with a blazing fast processor, and iPhone 13 Series won’t be any different. The Cupertino giant is all set to introduce a robust A15 Bionic. Considering that A14 Bionic is already way ahead of its Android counterpart (Snapdragon) both in terms of raw speed and efficiency, it will be interesting to see how far ahead Apple’s upcoming A-Series chip goes.
iPhone 13 Battery
Apple is likely to Equip the iPhone 13 Series with a more powerful and bigger battery. Considering that the upcoming iPhones, especially the higher-end models, are all set to have a 120Hz refresh rate which is known for eating into plenty of battery, a larger battery in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max seems pretty much on the cards.
As per reports, iPhone 13 Pro Max will feature around 4000mAh battery, while the iPhone 13 Pro is likely to come with around 3300mAh battery. The battery capacity of iPhone 13 and 13 mini may not see an increase as they won’t come with a higher refresh rate.
iPhone 13 Price
Apple doesn’t increase the price of its products every so often. If reliable reports are to be believed, the price of the iPhone 13 Series will be the same as iPhone 12 Series. That means you can buy the iPhone 13 (64GB) at ₹ 71,900, iPhone 13 mini (64GB) at ₹ 65,900, iPhone 13 Pro (128GB) at ₹ 115, 900 and iPad 13 Pro Max (128GB) at ₹ 1,29,900.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 13 Series at a special event in September (most probably in the first or second week) and launch the smartphones in several countries within a week.
The Bottom Line
If the rumours are to be believed, iPhone 13 could be a worthy upgrade. Though the lack of a brand new design will disappoint many, the 120Hz refresh rate and the more capable cameras will soar its demand.
