A-16 Series Chip
Every year, Apple releases new iPhones with a more powerful A-Series processor compared to the earlier models. Experts hope the trend will continue with iPhone Flip as well. No prizes for guessing, iPhone Flip is reported to come with an A-16 Series processor. Considering how fast and efficient Apple’s custom chip has always been, it would be fair to say that the foldable iPhone will stand out in terms of speed as well as efficiency.
As per Digitimes, Apple’s iPhone Flip will be a full-fledged foldable phone instead of a dual-screen phone like the Surface Duo.
Battery/Storage/RAM of iPhone Flip
Though the company has kept iPhone Flip a well-guarded secret, rumours say that the smartphone will have a fairly good battery in the range of 3300-3500mAh. As for storage, the device will be available in three storage capacities—128GB, 512GB and 1TB.
The tech giant is also reported to have up the game in terms of RAM capacity for iPhone Flip. The device is expected to come in the variants of 6GB and 8GB RAM.

Release Date and Price of iPhone Flip
According to Digitimes, the iPhone Flip will see the light of the day in 2022. For those unfamiliar, Apple has been working on the foldable concept for several years.
Are you wondering what’s holding the iPhone maker back? Well, there are a couple of things that seem to be preventing the company from going all out. First and foremost, the foldable tech is still at the nascent stage, to say the least. Those who have been closely following Apple would know that the tech giant has a history of playing the “wait and watch” game.

While almost all the smartphone manufacturers are busy launching foldable devices that appear to show a lot of promise but fail to get the basics right, Apple is working behind the scene to close the loopholes.
Another possible reason for the delay could be the lack of a durable display. Not too long ago, Samsung became a laughing stock when the review units of Samsung Fold broke down. While some reviewers said that the screen got torn out even before they could get a close look at the device, others claimed that the hinge was rather fragile.
Owing to widespread criticism, the South Korean tech giant had to not only recall the Samsung Fold units but also postpone the launch of the smartphones for months. Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip do not look any better either.
In such a situation, you should not expect, not even in the wildest of a whim, Apple to launch the much-awaited foldable smartphone that could reignite the long-lost “Bend Gate” saga.
Talking about the price, rumours state that the iPhone Flip will be priced around $1700 and $2500.
Let Flip Take its Own Sweet Time to Arrive
Though the market is flooded with tons of foldable smartphones, the demand is still below par. Not that Rapid Repair does not find foldable devices promising, but they still are not ready to go mainstream. After all, how many people would want to spend bundles of cash on a smartphone that can break down to pieces at any time?
