Get important alerts on the lock screen
If you are someone who often misses important notifications, you can highlight the most important alerts on the lock screen with iOS 18.4. This feature will be disabled by default and can be activated by going to Settings > Notifications > Prioritize Notifications.
Explore a new creative style on images
In iOS 18.4, Image Playground, the image creation tool of Apple Intelligence will support the generation of Sketch images, along with earlier introduced options of Animation and Illustration style images.
Use Apple Intelligence in Indian English
With the iOS 18.4 update, Apple Intelligence will support ten new languages. Besides French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), localised English of India and Singapore will also be included.

More control of the ambient music
The Control Centre will give you access to the new Ambient Music feature that will let you choose from four different moods, including Chill, Productivity, Sleep, and Wellbeing. Each mood will play a specific Apple Music playlist. You can customize the playlist for each mood or enjoy the preset options.
A feature for food lovers
Apple News+ subscribers will get access to a dedicated Food Hub inside the News app. The Food Hub will be full of thousands of recipes from all around the world, food-related news, and restaurant stories. The recipes will be presented in a beautiful and easy-to-use interface free of ads.
Other important updates
The iOS update will also introduce a few new default apps, like Translation. Apple Podcasts app will get two new widgets. A third row of app icons will be added to the standard grid of the CarPlay.
Now anyone using an iPhone SE 2nd generation, iPhone XR, or later models can install iOS 18.4. But Apple Intelligence is exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the entire iPhone 16 series, including the latest iPhone 16e. Usually the commercial version of released after a few weeks of the beta version.
